The fire broke out on Thursday, January 11, 2024, around 5:30 p.m. local time. The workshop was located in the Kalininsky district of Chelyabinsk, an industrial city in central Russia.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, initial reports suggest that it may have been caused by an electrical malfunction.
